I thought I'd do a quick sketch from Book 1 (GOT), Dany being bathed by Magister Illyrio's slaves before she's presented before Khal Drogo. "The old woman, small and grey as a mouse, never said a word, but the girl made up for it. She was Illyrio's favorite, a fair-haired, blue-eyed wench of sixteen who chattered constantly as she worked." I ended up dawdling on it more than I wanted.. but hey it's here. Trying all this week and next to sketch some of the scenes that have always stuck out in my head from reading GOT.
I went back in noodled around with the trees because last night when I "finished" this I hadn't eaten in 12 hours so I was effectively going blind and brain-dead. I never do that not eating thing.. so my brain was extra dumb. These trees make just a tiny little bit more sense.
I was dressed in a peacock costume at the NorCal Ren Faire this year and this is because 1.) I don't have a Ren Faire costume 2.) The peacock costume is the only costume I own. Lo, I was judged mercilessly by all of Ren Faire: the Puritan preacher condemned my haughty nature and also this knight judged me upon eating my own kind.
Finally had a moment to finish this little painting of Dany and one of her dragons. I started it when she was still in the Red Waste back in Episode 3, that's how long I've been dragging my feet on this thing.
